In addition to working with customers to apply technology in new areas, Luminis has been a long-serving and active participant In the Open Source movement. Amongst other things, Luminis has contributed to Apache Felix, was the original developer of Apache ACE, is an official Adopter Associate of OSGi and regularly presents papers at Open Source Events. Luminis is a business partner of the Dutch Java User Group (NLJUG) and its CEO – Hans Bossenbroek is also a board member of the Dutch Java User Group, one of the largest Java User Groups in the world.
